Back in Montana we spent some time at the Ansel Adams exhibit in the Missoula Art Museum. I started thinking about what some of our pictures would look like in black and white if we just cranked up the contrast and went with whatever came out. Shooting in black and white is probably pretentious and overdone to anyone who has taken an intro class in photography -- but neither of us has. So without further ado, here are the best black and white photos from our first month on the road.
